The Pope is ready to visit Kyiv, subject to his visit to Moscow

In an interview with the Argentine La Nación newspaper, Pope Francis said that he was ready to go to Kyiv on one condition – if he goes to Moscow.

“I am ready to go to Kyiv, and I want to go there. However, I will do it on the condition of travelling to Moscow. I go to both places or I don’t go to either,” said the head of the RCC.

The Pope also considered unlikely a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. However, he admitted that a world meeting of delegates would be organized.

Earlier, the Pope called the conflict in Ukraine a world war, where the imperial interests of all countries, not just Russia, are involved.

As the UOJ previously reported, the pontiff urged Ukrainians and Russians to forgive each other.
