MP: We must protect our shrines and show that there are many of us

The parishioners of the UOC must protect the shrines of the Church, but this must be done only within the framework of law, rules and order, MP of Ukraine Artem Dmytruk said in an interview with the UOJ.
Answering the question of how believers should protect churches from seizures, the politician emphasized: “Our only salvation is prayer and obedience. We are all someone's spiritual children. We must listen to our spiritual fathers. <...> We need to pray, come, show that we are, that there are many of us, that God is with us. It is of the biggest importance".
As regards those who rally against the Church, the people's deputy said that it "will not bring them either joy or good."
As the UOJ reported, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry urged believers not to succumb to provocations and to protect shrines.
