The ROC-appointed "head of the Berdiansk Eparchy" has declared all decrees of the incumbent Berdiansk bishop "null and void".

The Moscow Patriarchate has said that all decrees of the incumbent Berdiansk bishop are "null and void", reports a newly created resource called "The official website of the Berdiansk Eparchy of the Moscow Patriarchate".

The link to the site was posted on his Telegram channel by Bishop Savva (Tutunov), the vicar of the ROC Patriarch, accompanied by the note "Ex officio on the current situation in the Berdiansk Eparchy I voice the position of the eparchy head".

The "official website of the Berdiansk Eparchy" said that "with the blessing of the head of the Berdiansk Eparchy, His Grace Bishop Luke, we inform you that by virtue of the decision taken on May 16 by the Holy Synod on the governance of the Berdiansk Eparchy, the decrees issued on May 19 this year by His Grace Ephraim and subsequent, if any, are considered null and void”.

As earlier reported, the Metropolitan of Berdiansk banned four clerics from ministry for violating the oath of office.
