Ex-deputy: OCU seized the UOC-KP’s property and may be liquidated

Former deputy Sergei Melnichuk spoke about the raider seizure of the UOC-KP during the creation of the OCU. He wrote about the facts of violation of the law during the liquidation of the Kyiv Patriarchate on his Facebook page.

Melnichuk cited several facts of violations and forgery of documents during the registration of the OCU:

The ex-deputy believes that the UOC-KP was seized for the appropriation of property and participation in political processes in favor of Poroshenko. At the same time, the administrative resource was used and the OCU was registered in violation of the law. 
“By illegally encroaching on the property of the UOC-KP, the OCU can be liquidated as a church that incites sectarian enmity and is simply outlawed,” Melnichuk wrote. “At the same time, the illegally created organization carries out its activities contrary to the Constitution of Ukraine, interferes in the executive branch of government and takes part in an active political struggle in favor of one of the political forces.”

“The church is a bridge between man and God, rather than an agitator of the flock in favor of one person,” the ex-deputy summed up.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote about the statement of the UOC-KP lawyer that the court “lost” the case on the registration of the Kyiv Patriarchate.
