Symphonic music concert to be held in front of Lavra’s Dormition Cathedral

On September 2, 2023, an evening of symphonic music called "Symphony of the Lavra" is planned in the square in front of the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The concert announcement was published by ticket-selling resources.

The event slogan is "Listen to the sound of the Ukrainian Lavra!" During the concert, the ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" will perform works by Ukrainian and foreign composers, as well as the Lemko song "Plyve kacha po Tysyni...".

Ticket prices range from UAH 300 to 650.

As reported, on January 22, a concert by the group "Khorеia Kozatska" took place at the Lavra's Antonius and Theodosius of the Caves Church.

On February 26, during Forgiveness Sunday, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy used the facade of the closed Dormition Cathedral for a light show by Swiss artist Gerry Hofstetter.
