MP of Ukraine Artem Dmytruk commented on his Telegram channel about the provocation of a policeman near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, who turned on a blasphemous song about Christ near the place where UOC believers were praying.

The MP said that by his actions, the dialogue police officer violated the Law of Ukraine and offended both Christians and Muslims around the world.

“Today there was an egregious event. An employee of the 'dialogue police' began to provoke believers, insulting their faith. At the same time, in their stupidity, they do not understand that Jesus Christ is not a staff member of the Lavra or any community. <...> The violation of the law was committed by the one who is assigned to protect this law. It's embarrassing and disappointing. First, the persecution of the Lavra, now the persecution of Christianity as a whole, and then what? Gas ovens?" wrote Dmytruk.

As the UOJ reported, near the Lavra, a policeman dampened the prayer with a blasphemous song about Christ.
