Vandals burn a roadside cross in Khmelnytskyi Region

In the Khmelnytskyi region, vandals set fire to a cross located at the entrance to the village of Balyn in the Dunayevetskyi district, as reported by the Telegram channel "Real Khmelnytskyi."

A video published by the Telegram channel shows vandals igniting the cross at its base, creating a large bonfire, which caused the cross to fall to the ground.

This incident occurred in the Kamyanets-Podilskyi Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Earlier, it was reported that during the night of October 7 to October 8, 2023, unknown individuals vandalized the gates near the Peter and Paul Church in the village of Yarmolyntsi in the Khmelnytskyi district of the Khmelnytskyi Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by painting them with red paint.

Additionally, on October 5, 2023, vandals splattered red paint on the walls of a UOC church in Raikovtsi, Khmelnytskyi region.
