Two new churches consecrated in Sumy region

On December 26, 2020, His Eminence Roman Archbishop of Konotop and Hlukhiv led the Divine Liturgy and consecrated a church in honor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Bilokopytovo village, Hlukhiv district of Sumy region, the website of the Konotop Diocese reports.

A day earlier, on December 25, 2020, Archbishop Roman of Konotop and Hlukhiv performed a small consecration of the church in honor of St. Spyridon the Wonderworker of Trimythous in Pidlypne village in the city of Konotop.

Vladyka told the faithful about the life of Saint Spyridon of Trimythous and awarded the benefactors of the church with bishop's letters.

As the UOJ wrote earlier, the UOC community, which had been on trial for two years for the right to build, had their church consecrated in Lutsk.
