In Cherkasy, raiders assault UOC believers and confiscate their phones

On November 20, 2023, unknown raiders in military uniforms, attempting to seize the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Convent in Cherkasy, brutally assaulted UOC believers.
Eyewitnesses reported to the UOJ correspondent that currently, there are about 150 people in military uniforms on the sanctuary's grounds, and four defenders of the nunnery have already suffered severe injuries.
According to UOJ sources, individuals in military uniforms are violently attacking believers. A UOC priest had his jaw broken, another man has a broken leg, and a young parishioner of the convent has been severely beaten.
In addition, eyewitnesses claim that raiders, together with the police, are attacking and brutally beating anyone who tries to document the lawlessness on their phone or camera. At present, the raiders have confiscated phones from many believers and smashed them.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that raiders in Cherkasy broke the jaw of a UOC priest.
