Court finally takes away Holy Cross Church in Kamianets-Podilskyi from UOC

On 20 November 2023, the North-Western Economic Court of Appeal upheld the appeal of the Religious Organisation "Holy Cross Ukrainian Orthodox Church", leaving unchanged the decision of the court of first instance, reports the website of the Ministry of Culture.
The Court of Appeal ruled in favour of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy and the Reserve, thus transferring the Holy Cross Church of the UOC in Kamianets-Podilskyi into the ownership of the “Kamianets” National Historical and Architectural Reserve. The decision has entered into legal force.
As reported, the court gave the Ministry of Culture the UOC church in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
