Metropolitan Vladimir, the head of the Church of Moldova, is declared persona non grata in Ukraine, according to Moldovan deputy Bogdan Tsyrdia, who stated this in his Telegram channel.

"We demand that President Maia Sandu raise the issue of lifting the persona non grata status for Metropolitan Vladimir at the meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky. Otherwise, we will declare that all these attacks against the holy Church are happening with the direct support of the authorities," said Tsyrdia. He added that "gross attacks" are being carried out against the Moldovan Church today, which are happening "not without the knowledge of the authorities."

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Maia Sandu commented on calls for the Moldovan Metropolitan Church to join the ROC to the Romanian Patriarchate.
