The head of the Phanariot diocese in Sweden, Metropolitan Cleopas, believes that Epifaniy Dumenko, whose representatives seize UOC temples, is "a tireless worker of the Gospel".

During the visit of the head of the OCU to Sweden, Metropolitan Cleopas said that the presence of Dumenko "is a special blessing, as it gives us all an opportunity to receive the blessing of the Primate of the Church in Ukraine."

Metropolitan Cleopas also admired Dumenko, "the helmsman of the Ukrainian Church simple in manner and great in soul" and noted that Epifaniy is "adorned with patience, sobriety and prudence".

As earlier reported, OCU reps in Cherkasy broke the jaw of a UOC priest.
