On March 13, 2021, Metropolitan Anatoly of Polissya and Sarny consecrated Sts. Peter and Paul church in the village of Yasinets, Rivne region, the press service of the Polissya Diocese reports.

After the raider seizure of St. Nicholas church in the village of Selets, Dubrovytsia district, the persecuted church community had to continue praying in a chapel located at the cemetery in the village of Yasinets. Metropolitan Anatoly consecrated the new throne and, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, laid the relics of the Holy Hieromartyr Vladimir, Metropolitan of Kyiv and Galicia, into the cross of the Holy See. After the consecration of the church, the first Divine Liturgy was performed in the hierarchical order.

Metropolitan Anatoly was concelebrated by Archimandrite Anthony (Griban), rector of the Holy Protection Monastery of the village of Velyki Tseptsevychi, Archpriest Nikolai Ivanichko, rector of Sts. Peter and Paul church in the village of Yasinets, priests of neighboring villages, as well as clerics of the Kyiv diocese.

Metropolitan Anatoly congratulated the clergy and believers on the consecration of the temple, wished the parishioners to preserve the temple and the faith of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers, and thanked the believers for the sacrifice.

As the UOJ previously reported, a domed cross was consecrated in a church under construction in Belgorodka.
