Volyn Diocese of UOC collects over 120,000 UAH for AFU's needs

On January 14, 2024, a charitable Christmas concert of the clergy of the Volyn Diocese took place in the city of Kamin-Kashyrsky, Volyn region, during which 121,246 UAH was collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the diocese's press service.
The charitable concert "Christ's Star of Salvation" featured church choirs from UOC temples in the villages of Oleksiyivka, Vyderta, Osovtsi, Vorokomle, Hrudky, Rakiv Lis, and Bronytsia.
Participants in the charity concert performed both contemporary and ancient and little-known carols.
The diocese also noted that part of the funds raised would be donated to the needs of orphaned children in the Kamin-Kashyrsky district.
As reported previosuly, UOC communities in Germany held a charity festival of carols.
