On January 13-14, 2024, the head of the Western European Vicariate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Bishop Veniamin of Boyarka, made an archpastoral visit to the United Kingdom, where he visited UOC parishes in London and Farnham. This was reported by the Department of External Church Relations of the UOC.

On the eve of the Feast of the Circumcision of the Lord and the memory day of St. Basil the Great, the bishop performed the Vespers with the London parish in honor of the Protection of the Mother of God, and on the day of the feast, he celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Assumption parish in Farnham.

After the service, a festive meal took place, during which the bishop communicated with the parishioners.

On the same evening, Bishop Veniamin visited the UOC community in London again and conducted a moleben with litanies for peace in Ukraine, as well as a lity for the dead, commemorating the fallen Ukrainian soldiers and all those who died during the war in Ukraine.

Afterwards, everyone interested could share a meal with the hierarch and glorify the advent of the Savior into the world with Christmas carols.

As reported by the UOJ, on January 14, 2024, a charitable festival of Ukrainian carols took place in Leipzig, where choirs from several UOC communities in Germany performed.
