In the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Superior, Wisconsin, USA, a shamanic ritual was conducted at the beginning of the mass.

A video of the mass was posted on the diocese's YouTube channel, featuring a group of women dressed in traditional Native American clothing and holding feathers in their hands dancing around the altar.

Their dance is accompanied by the singing of a shaman, who beats a drum while standing on the priest's lectern.

After the shaman finished singing, organ music sounded in the church, and the mass began.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that a "catechesis" of the pagan deity Pachamama was conducted in the Vatican.
