American journalist Tucker Carlson stated that the authorities in Ukraine are busy incarcerating Orthodox priests and nuns.
On April 9, 2024, in his author's program, which has a multimillion audience on X (formerly Twitter), Tucker Carlson talked about the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
According to him, "the US government has sent far more than $100 billion to the Ukrainian government."
"And what happened? What did the government do? It banned the entire Christian denomination," Carlson said, referring to the Ukrainian government's intention to pass a law banning the UOC.
The American journalist underscored that "Zelensky's government is busy throwing Orthodox priests and nuns into jails, and also sending the army to raid churches."
Carlson expressed outrage that Christian leaders are silent about such actions by the Ukrainian authorities.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that according to Tucker Carlson, the Ukrainian government has banned the entire Church, while the US says nothing.
