The Accounting Chamber has provided recommendations to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine regarding the management of the National Reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" and recommended reconsidering the appropriateness of three museums being located in this area, according to the department's press service.

The museums in question are the National Museum of Ukrainian Folk Decorative Art, the Museum of Theater, Music, and Cinema of Ukraine, and the Museum of Books and Book Printing of Ukraine. All of them are located within the buildings of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The placement of museums on the Lavra's territory was facilitated by the Kyiv City Council, which issued the relevant permission in 2010.

As reported by the UOJ, acting Minister of Culture of Ukraine Rostyslav Karandeyev stated that the monks of the UOC must vacate the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, otherwise it will be done by force within a month.
