U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump stated at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee that he would not be on that stage if it were not for the grace of God. Fox News published the video of Trump’s speech five days after an assassination attempt on the politician.
"I wasn't supposed to be here tonight... I stand before you in this arena only by the grace of Almighty God," said Donald Trump.
The presidential candidate spoke about the assassination attempt, noting that it was frightening, but he felt that "God is on his side."
On this day, Trump accepted the Republican Party's nomination for President of the United States.
As the UOJ previously reported, Donald Trump had earlier stated that he survived the assassination attempt thanks to the intervention of Almighty God.
