After the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, which featured blasphemous scenes that sparked outrage in the world, representatives of the production company Paname 2024, which organized the show, began receiving threatening letters, writes leParisien.

It is reported that on August 2, several threatening letters were received by the company's messaging system.

"These messages, repeating a verse from the Quran, indicated that 'Allah's punishment will fall upon the organizers in Saint-Denis.' These emails were addressed to the artistic director of the ceremony, Thomas Jolly, and the company's CEO," the report says.

The company representatives have filed a complaint with the relevant authorities regarding the death threats.

As reported by the UOJ, French queer artists claimed that they parodied the "Last Supper".
