OCChLS Primate congratulates Met. Onuphry on anniversary of enthronement

On August 17, 2021, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav, congratulated the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, on the 7th anniversary of his enthronement, reports the UOC Information and Education Department.
In his congratulatory address, Metropolitan Rastislav noted that His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry became the successor of the works of “his blissfully deceased predecessor, Metropolitan Vladimir (Sabodan)”.
According to the Primate of the OCChZS, Metropolitan Onuphry, with his inherent monastic humility, deep pastoral wisdom and indisputable authority, continues the holy works of Metropolitan Vladimir, "multiplying the good fruit of church action".
“On this day of joy for the fullness of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, I prayerfully wish your Holy Place the inexhaustible help of God in the blessed Primate labours with the prayers and intercession of all the reverend fathers of the Kyiv Caves!” wrote Metropolitan Rastislav.
As reported earlier, Patriarch Kirill and the Primate of the Polish Church congratulated His Beatitude Onuphry on the anniversary of his enthronement.
