UOC lawyer: Important hearing on the Lower Lavra case to be held on Sept 26

An important court hearing regarding the termination of the usage agreement for the Lower Lavra will take place at the Northern Appellate Commercial Court in Kyiv. This was reported on the Telegram channel by the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra lawyer, Archpriest Nikita Chekman.

The hearing is scheduled for September 26 at 11:00 AM, at 1 Sholudenko Street.

"We ask for holy prayers and support!" wrote Archpriest Nikita.

As previously reported by the UOJ, on September 5, a court hearing was held at the Northern Appellate Commercial Court of Kyiv regarding the Lower Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra case, where the issue of evicting the monks from the monastery was to be discussed. The judge assigned to the case recused himself.
