Kyiv Eparchy UOC priest honored with commendation from Ukrainian Armed Forces

On November 17, 2024, Archpriest Vyacheslav Lazoryk, dean of the Bilohorodka district of the Kyiv Eparchy, received a commendation from servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC).
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Father Vyacheslav has made numerous trips to active combat zones, delivering humanitarian aid and providing spiritual support to Ukrainian soldiers.
The command and personnel of the 143rd Independent Infantry Brigade expressed their gratitude to the priest for his patriotism, care, and assistance. “Thank you for not standing aside from the challenges faced by the Armed Forces and for providing such crucial help and support through all possible efforts and resources,” the letter of appreciation stated.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the military administration of Toretsk awarded a UOC cleric with a medal.
