On November 11, the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra will host an international conference "Congregation of the Church: Theological, Canonical and Historical Dimensions", which will be attended by theologians from seven Local Orthodox Churches, according to the website of the Kyiv Theological Academy.

Theologians and scholars of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as well as the Antioch, Russian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Polish Churches, the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia and the Orthodox Church in America, will participate in the conference.

The theological forum will consider the issues of primacy and conciliarity in the Orthodox Church. In practical terms, the conference reports deal with the crisis in Orthodoxy caused by Phanar's actions in Ukraine and his new doctrine of the Church, according to which the Patriarch of Constantinople is endowed with special powers and authority.

The conference was organized by the Kyiv Theological Academy in pursuance of the decision of the Holy Synod of the UOC of May 12, 2021.

The conference starts at 10:00 in the assembly hall of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. A detailed list of participants and topics of reports can be found at the link.

As reported by the UOJ, a conference "World Orthodoxy: Primacy and Conciliarity in the Light of Orthodox Doctrine" was held in Moscow.
