Albanian Primate in intensive care

The Primate of the Albanian Church, Archbishop Anastasios, was transferred to the intensive care unit on January 10, according to a Facebook post by the Albanian Church's press service.

"The health condition of His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasios of Albania has sharply deteriorated, and he has been moved to the intensive care unit, where he is on mechanical ventilation," reads the statement from the administration of the Athens hospital where the archpastor is being treated.

Previously, the UOJ reported that according to a statement by Athens medical staff, the condition of the Primate of the Albanian Church is deemed critical.
