Former Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhny, who now serves as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, met with the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Sviatoslav Shevchuk, as well as representatives of Greek Catholic youth at the Ukrainian Catholic University, according to the UCU website.

Zaluzhny told those present that Ukrainians “must rely on themselves, on God, and on their partners.”

"Ukraine’s victory will come when Russia crumbles into 27, or better yet, 69 principalities, but only after someone takes away their nuclear weapons. But is the world ready for this? The world is not ready. I am sure that the empire has its own measure of resilience. Eventually, it will all come to an end," Zaluzhny stated.

He also criticized NATO, claiming that the alliance “has no real military strength as an institution and primarily serves the political interests of its member states.”

During the meeting, Zaluzhny gifted Shevchuk his book, "Ukraine Stands! Ukraine Fights! Ukraine Prays!"

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Zaluzhny recounted how a fortune teller had predicted his war with Russia.
