His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine , delivered an address to the faithful and all Ukrainians on the occasion of the third anniversary of the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

"For three years now, our Motherland has been confronting a large-scale Russian military invasion. For three years, our Motherland has suffered from the horrific bloodshed that the Russian army has inflicted on our Ukrainian soil, taking the lives of our compatriots literally every day," the head of the UOC stressed.

In his message, Metropolitan Onuphry stated that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church remains with its people despite "vilification, speculations, and fabricated accusations." He noted that among the faithful of the UOC are servicemen, medical workers, rescuers, and volunteers.

"Nothing can justify those who disrupt the blessed peace, multiply hatred, and sow death," declared the head of the UOC.

The Metropolitan called on believers to pray for the military personnel, medical workers, and rescue service staff. He also reminded that this day has recently been designated as a special national day of prayer in Ukraine.

In concluding his address, the First Hierarch of the UOC urged his fellow citizens to maintain internal unity, respect one another, and remember those who gave their lives for the peaceful future of the country.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Metropolitan Onuphry explained how a person can achieve happiness.
