The "Bishops' Council" of the Kyiv Patriarchate, headed by Filaret Denisenko, decided to rename the dioceses of the Greek "bishops" who were recently accepted into this structure, the official website of the UOC-KP reports.

The former "bishop" of the church of the True Orthodox Christians of Greece, and then the "Metropolitan of Chersonesus and Aegina" of the Kyiv Patriarchate, Auxentios Marines, is now called by the schismatics the "Metropolitan of Chersonesus and Volnovakha", with a corresponding change in the name of the diocese from Aegina to Chersonesus.

Similarly, the banned cleric of the Church of Greece, Archimandrite Chrysostomos Kallis, was renamed from “Metropolitan of Mariupol and Dervenochoria” to “Metropolitan of Mariupol and Feodosiya”, while the diocese – from Dervenochoria to Mariupol.

Earlier, a “holy synod” was established at the same meeting of the UOC-KP “council”.

The UOJ analyzed in detail what the union of Filaret with the Old Calendarists of Greece means.
