"Every year, on the eve of Pascha, millions of people around the world watch this sacred event. Thousands of believers gather in Jerusalem on this day.

On Holy Saturday, Orthodox Ukrainians, together with pilgrims from various countries, will witness the miracle that has become a symbol of the Bright Resurrection of Christ," the statement reads.

The service will be led by Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.

As previously reported by the UOJ, a hierarch of the Moldovan Church was not allowed to travel to Jerusalem to receive the Holy Fire.
