Bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cleveland American Cathedral, the official website of the UOC reports.

Bishop Victor of Baryshivka and Bishop Dionisy of Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky were concelebrated by Archpriest Ilya Marzev, the rector of the Cathedral, Archpriest Vladimir Tereshchuk, the Dean of the Obolon Deanery of Kyiv, Archimandrite Dosifey (Mykhailiuk), the Dean of the Academic church of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary (KDAiS), as well as the clergy of the Cathedral.

“The service was performed in Church Slavonic and English. At the end of the liturgy, Bishop Victor delivered a sermon, conveyed the blessing of the Primate of the UOC to all those present and thanked Archbishop Peter of Chicago and Central America for the opportunity to pray at the diocese’s cathedral,” says the official website of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the rector of the KDAiS explained why the ROCOR experience is irrelevant to the Ukrainian schism.
