Dumenko: It's hard to imagine the OCU without embroidery

On Vyshyvanka Day, the head of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, spoke about the significance of embroidery for his organization. According to him, “it is difficult today to imagine” the OCU “without Ukrainian embroidery – without embroidered towels, clerical vestments, and embroidered icons.”
In his view, the traditional colors of embroidery – black, red, and white – correspond to church symbolism.
Dumenko also stated that “today’s Vyshyvanka Day is a day of true unity for Ukrainians around the world.”
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the “OCU’s appointed superior of the Lavra,” Lotysh, published an AI-generated image of Christ in a vyshyvanka.
