Mukachevo Eparchy of UOC receives humanitarian aid from Austria and Hungary
Humanitarian aid from Orthodox believers of Hungary and Austrian citizens arrived in the Mukachevo Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reports the UOC eparchy on its website.
On March 13, three cargo vans from Austria arrived, the cargo was addressed to the Irshava youth brotherhood of the Holy Prophet and Forerunner John the Baptist of the UOC and the charitable association "Volunteers of Transcarpathia", which includes young believers of the brotherhood.
On March 14, the aid was delivered to the Mukachevo Eparchy by the clergy and believers of the Orthodox parishes of Hungary to be distributed to refugees who have already arrived and are on their way to the Transcarpathian region.
As reported, the UOC religious procession with the Athonite miracle-working icon has taken place around Uzhhorod.
