On November 14, 2025, the Trinity Church of the St. Jonas Monastery in Kyiv was damaged by Russian shelling, reports Archbishop Iona. As a result of the night attack, the monastery's church was damaged, and the altar windows were shattered.

The archbishop noted that, compared to the destruction of residential buildings in the city, the damage to the monastery church is minor, but he also called these damages sad.

As reported by the UOJ, in Zaporizhzhia, St. Andrew's Cathedral of the UOC was destroyed by a Russian missile strike. Since the beginning of the war, numerous churches and monasteries in Ukraine have sustained varying degrees of damage.
