Law enforcement quickly detained a suspect who, according to preliminary information, shows signs of mental illness.
The Sadgora Synagogue, founded in the 19th century, is one of the oldest Jewish sacred sites in Chernivtsi, located in the historic neighborhood of Sadgora.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Verkhovna Rada voiced concern over combating antisemitism.
