Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, s. Minkovtsy
The Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos of the UOC in the village of Minkovtsy was illegally reregistered to the OCU and became the object of a planned raider seizure. In August 2025, OCU activists organized a fictitious "meeting" at the church fence, spreading calls to vote on behalf of the religious community and bringing in people from other villages, despite the protests of the actual parishioners.
On October 4, 2025, without waiting for a court decision, OCU raiders with forged documents cut the locks and forcibly occupied the church. According to eyewitnesses, the police not only did not intervene but also assisted the invaders, preventing UOC parishioners from entering their church and ignoring the destruction of the shrine's doors.
