LGBT literature handed out at WCC Assembly

LGBT literature was handed out at the Assembly of the World Council of Churches, Metropolitan Leonid (Gorbachev), a representative of the delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church, said in his telegram channel.
Materials promoting LGBT people were distributed in front of the entrance to the complex where WCC events take place.
“Contrary to the teachings and heritage of the Church and just common sense, the issue of supporting ‘rainbow families’, protecting ‘lesbian, gay, bi, trans & intersex people everywhere’ from discrimination has now become a topic of discussion. There are thematic platforms and exhibitions, public organizations and associations defending ‘equal rights and fair treatment’. There are so many words, epithets, arguments in defense of representatives of LGBTQ+, who are elevated almost to the rank of martyrs, ‘humiliated and insulted’, ‘oppressed’ on the grounds of their otherness,” said the Metropolitan of the Russian Orthodox Church.
According to him, sin should be called sin, deviation from the norm – deviation, so they shouldn't prove their right to exist so desperately and aggressively, all the more imposing it and demanding special treatment.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the German bishops of the RCC called on Rome to hear the supporters of LGBT and abortion.
