Head of Phanar: We promote inter-Christian and inter-religious dialogue
During his visit to London, Patriarch Bartholomew said that the Patriarchate of Constantinople is engaged in the promotion of inter-Christian and inter-religious dialogue, reports fosfanariou.gr.
At a dinner for British members of the Order of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called, Patriarch Bartholomew noted their "total dedication and commitment to service" to the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
"Year after year, you worthily protect and promote the religious rights and freedoms of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, allowing us, in turn, to do the same, defending and promoting inter-Christian and inter-religious dialogue," the head of Phanar emphasized.
He also noted that it is the Order of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called that supports "the reputation, ministry, status and honor of the Church of Constantinople in all parts of the world."
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to Patriarch Bartholomew, ecumenism is a blessing and an opportunity for reconciliation.
