On May 17, 2026, the head of the UOC-KP, “Patriarch” Nikodym, granted the petition of Romanian cleric Constantin Cernușcă and received him, together with his parish, into his organization, according to Nikodym's Facebook page.

According to the relevant decree, the association “Abode of All Saints,” located in the village of Săgasa, entered the structure.

The document states that the Romanian association will now be directly subordinate to Nikodym. The act of “accession” itself took place after the cleric submitted the corresponding petition to the leadership of the UOC-KP.

As previously reported by the UOJ, a parish in Dénia, Spain, transferred from the Church of Constantinople to the UOC-KP following a decision by the community and its subsequent official registration. This fact demonstrates the practice of the UOC-KP’s consistent expansion of its presence outside Ukraine by incorporating foreign parishes into its structure.
