UOC hierarch participates in celebrations of Warsaw Theological Seminary

On June 5, 2026, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Volodymyr-Volynskyi and Kovel participated in the celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Orthodox Theological Seminary in Poland, reports the press service of the Volodymyr-Volynskyi Eparchy.

The events took place at the invitation of Metropolitan Sava of Warsaw and All Poland. As part of the anniversary, a festive Divine Liturgy and thanksgiving moleben were celebrated.

The eparchy notes that this visit held special significance for Metropolitan Vladimir as he had previously taught at this theological school.

During his stay at the seminary, the hierarch met with former colleagues, staff members, and celebration participants. During the conversations, he recalled his years of service at the educational institution and emphasized the importance of theological education for preparing future pastors of the Church.

In conclusion of the meetings, Metropolitan Volodymyr wished those present good health, spiritual wisdom, and God's help in their future labors. He emphasized the importance of continuing the traditions of theological education and raising new generations of clergy.

As the UOJ reported, the Volodymyr-Volynskyi Eparchy detailed a TRC's attack on the hierarch's car.
