On June 23, 2026, in Odessa, a group of unknown individuals made an attempt to seize St. Alexander Nevsky's Church, reports the Odesa Eparchy.
Raiders are attempting to forcibly take possession of a worship building belonging to the Odesa Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. In connection with the situation, parishioners and all concerned Christians were called to intensified prayer for this parish and its faithful.
As the UOJ reported, Lavra Reserve employees seized the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos.
