In Odesa, believers urged not to write memorial notes for living TRC officers
In one of the Odessa churches, parishioners began en masse writing the names of living TCC (Territorial Recruitment Center) employees in memorial notes for the repose of the dead. The parish leadership called on the faithful to stop this practice. This was reported by the Telegram channel shelestlive.
"Dear parishioners! Do not write the names of TCC employees in the notes for the repose of the dead. Fear God," reads the notice on the candle stand. The message does not specify which denomination the church belongs to. The memorial note forms are printed in the Ukrainian language.
According to superstitions and occult practices, it is believed that submitting memorial notes with the names of living people brings grave illness and misfortune upon the person whose name is written in them.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in the Rivne region, the TCC abducted a cleric of the UOC Pokrovsky Monastery.
