With the blessing of Metropolitan Agafangel of Odesa and Izmail, the Odesa Eparchy organized a theological and educational forum for clergy of the Ovidiopol Deanery in the city of Chornomorsk. The event was announced on the eparchy's Facebook page.
Held at the Transfiguration of the Savior Church, the forum featured lectures by professors of the Odesa Theological Seminary and invited speakers on a range of current theological and social issues.
Participants discussed new approaches to parish life and exchanged pastoral experience aimed at strengthening the Church's ministry and providing more effective spiritual support to the faithful.
The clergy noted that gatherings of this kind help raise the educational level of priests and foster thoughtful responses to the contemporary challenges facing Church ministry. The forum concluded in a spirit of fraternal fellowship, with participants returning to their parishes with new knowledge and practical ideas for their pastoral work.
As the UOJ reported, the Volyn Eparchy recently held a conference on distinguishing faith from psychology.
