British blogger Alexandra Ashcroft, known online as Alex in the Ordinary, announced her renunciation of tarology following her conversion to Christ, reports The Christian Post.
The young woman, whose account had more than 933,000 followers, stated that she will no longer do Tarot card readings or create content related to occult practices. According to her, she deleted her old videos and has no intention of returning to her former activities.
Ashcroft admitted that this decision was not easy for her, but necessary. “Jesus Christ saved my life,” said the blogger, emphasizing that over the past year faith has become the main foundation of her life.
After leaving tarology, she created a new account, alexcourageinchrist, where she plans to speak about the Bible, share testimonies of faith, and talk about “whatever the Lord holds for me to share.” According to Ashcroft, her path to this decision was not instantaneous, but came through reflection, inner struggle, and prayer.
The blogger also stated that she does not want to worry about the future or build her former plans around social media popularity. Now, she says, she is focused on “where her feet stand” on the path of faith, entrusting the rest to God.
Previously, the UOJ reported that law enforcement opened an investigation into the activities of Oryshchenko, who organized blasphemous actions near the walls of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
