UOC Faithful Made a Pilgrimage to the Miraculous Kalinivka Cross

The faithful and clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church made a prayerful pilgrimage to the Kalinivka Cross on the day of its annual commemoration. This was reported by the press service of the Vinnytsia Diocese.

The festive Divine Liturgy on July 8, 2026, at the great Podolian shrine was led by Metropolitan Agapit of Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Sharhorod, co-served by Metropolitan Varsonofiy of Vinnytsia and Bar.

Together with the hierarchs, at the site of the miraculous manifestation of God's grace, prayers were offered by the secretary of the Vinnytsia Diocese, Archimandrite Enoch (Torak), the secretary of the Diocesan Council, Archimandrite Filaret (Olivinsky), the dean of the Kalinivka deanery, Archpriest Vasyl Rozman, as well as members of the Diocesan Council, local clergy, and guests in holy orders.

During the service, the clergy offered special prayers for peace in Ukraine, for the Ukrainian people and their defenders. The pilgrims also asked the Lord for consolation and help for all people suffering from the hostilities.

After the conclusion of the Liturgy, the archpastors, clergy, and laity performed a solemn veneration of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord. Metropolitan Varsonofiy thanked His Grace Agapit and the faithful for their shared standing in prayer and congratulated those present on the feast day. The hierarch expressed his wish that the gracious power of the shrine would strengthen every Christian in faith, grant spiritual joy, and God's blessing.

As the UOJ reported, UOC priests took part in the celebrations at a Romanian monastery in Putna.
