Graduation of choir directors held at Tikhvin Monastery in Dnipro

Metropolitan Irinei of Dnipropetrovsk and Pavlohrad presented diplomas to graduates of the choir director and catechist school in Dnipro. This was reported by the UOC Information Center.

The ceremony took place on July 9, 2026, at the Holy Tikhvin Convent following the Divine Liturgy in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God.

In addition to diplomas marking the completion of their studies, the UOC hierarch presented blessed certificates to the school’s most successful students. The festive day united the spiritual joy of the patronal feast with the achievements of the school’s pupils.

In his congratulatory address, Metropolitan Irenei stressed the special importance of receiving a church education in these difficult times. The archpastor wished the graduates wisdom, firmness in the faith, and zealous service to God and neighbor.

The diploma ceremony became the final chord of the festive service, combining spiritual joy with the joy of educational achievement. In response, the young specialists thanked the Metropolitan for his fatherly care and the teachers for the knowledge and spiritual support they had given them.

As the UOJ reported, the Odesa Seminary presented the diploma works of its icon-painting department.
