A graduation of the choir regency department of the theological school took place in Zimne
At the Zimne monastery, the presentation of diplomas to new choir directors was combined with honoring the anniversaries of Metropolitan Vladimir and the abbess of the monastery.
On June 14, 2026, celebrations were held at the Svyatogorsk Dormition Zimne Stauropegial Monastery of the UOC on the occasion of the graduation of students from the choir regency department of the Volodymyr-Volyn Theological School. This was reported by the UOC Information Center.
This year’s graduation ceremony combined several significant dates in the life of the diocese and the monastery. The faithful honored Metropolitan Vladimir on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of his time on the cathedra, and also congratulated the abbess of the monastery, Abbess Stephana, on the 35th anniversary of her service as abbess
Metropolitan Vladimir led the festive Divine Liturgy, during which the clergy and faithful prayed for peace on Ukrainian soil, and for the celebrants and the graduates.
After the Liturgy, the bishop addressed those gathered with words of greeting and presented the young women with diplomas of theological education. The archpastor explained the importance of the mission of a church choir director and thanked the mentors for preparing new personnel for the kliros.
The teachers and graduates, in turn, congratulated the bishop and the mother abbess on their personal anniversaries. The young women expressed deep gratitude to Abbess Stephana for her motherly care and for the conditions created in the monastery for gaining knowledge and spiritual growth.
As SPZh reported, diploma works of the icon-painting department were shown at the Odesa Seminary.
