Students who demonstrated excellent results throughout the academic year were presented with commemorative gifts and awards.

On June 2, 2026, solemn events dedicated to another graduation of future pastors took place at the Pochaiv Theological Seminary. The festive Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral of the monastery was led by Metropolitan Sergius of Ternopil and Kremenets, reports the UOC Information Center.

His Eminence was concelebrated by the seminary rector Archbishop Job of Shumsk, faculty members of the educational institution, and graduates of the school in holy orders. The student choir under the direction of Priest Andriy Romaniuk sang during the service. The clergy and laity offered kneeling prayers for the establishment of peace in Ukraine.

After the Liturgy and thanksgiving moleben, faculty and students venerated the main shrines of the Lavra: the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God, the Footprint of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the relics of the Venerable Job and Amphilochius.

The official part of the celebrations traditionally took place at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Lavra. Participants in the ceremony heard greetings from the Chairman of the Educational Committee under the Holy Synod of the UOC, Metropolitan Clement of Nizhyn and Pryluki, and the Rector of the Kyiv Theological Schools, Archbishop Sylvester of Bilohorodka.

At the conclusion of the celebration, Metropolitan Serhiy and Archbishop Job addressed the young graduates with archpastoral instructions, wishing them spiritual strength in their future ministry.

As the UOJ reported, unknown men attempted to abduct a seminary student near the Pochaiv Lavra.
