TRC detains priest of Ovruch Eparchy

Officers of Ukraine's Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support (TRC) detained Archpriest Serhiy Bovsunovskyi of the UOC's Ovruch Eparchy at a checkpoint near Korosten, according to a Facebook post by Archpriest Heorhiy Kuznetsov.
The incident occurred during a document check at a road checkpoint in Ukraine's Zhytomyr region. According to a Facebook post by Archpriest Heorhiy Kuznetsov, after being detained, Fr. Serhiy was taken to the Korosten Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support.
At the time of publication, Fr. Serhiy remains in the TRC building. Orthodox Christians are asking the faithful to offer fervent prayers for the detained priest.
As the UOJ previously reported, the TRC abducted a 58-year-old UOC priest in Kalush.
