Drone hits UOC church in Pamyatne

On the night of August 12, 2026, a UOC church dedicated to the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessaloniki in the village of Pamiatne, Nizhyn district, was damaged after a drone fell and exploded during a Russian air attack on Chernihiv region, the Nizhyn Eparchy reports.
The blast wave shattered windows in the church and damaged its roof.
Part of the drone also remained in the churchyard.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a drone struck the dome of a UOC church in Kramatorsk.
