Entrance exams completed at Pochaiv Seminary
At the Pochaiv Theological Seminary, 29 applicants were recommended for enrollment based on the results of entrance exams. The admissions committee has concluded the enrollment campaign. This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.
The entrance exams were held at the theological school from August 19 to 21, 2026. Before the exams began, clergy served a joint moleben in the seminary church in honor of the Venerable Job and Amphilochius of Pochaiv.
Applicants completed written and oral tests and also underwent interviews with Metropolitan Sergiy of Ternopil and Kremenets and the seminary's vice-rectors. Participants concluded the examinations with a thanksgiving moleben to the Lord.
The new students of the theological school received recommendations for enrollment in the full-time program. After the results were announced, the prospective students discussed matters of the academic process and daily life within the monastery walls with the administration.
As the SPJ reported, entrance exams were completed at Odessa Seminary.
